Job Summary
Manage projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget by collaborating with disciplines and subconsultants to develop risk-averse scopes and fee structures. Develop project plans, maintain schedules, and monitor progress while mitigating risks and executing extra work orders. Lead project status presentations, communicate updates to stakeholders, and prepare progress reports and invoices. Build client relationships to set up and execute quality projects, assist with marketing decisions and proposal development, and coordinate technical resources. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members through check-ins and debriefs, while leading performance management to support team growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Registered Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience delivering water and wastewater projects from design through construction phase engineering services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Presentation Skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
- Must be available for occasional field work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
Desired Qualifications
- CAPM or PMP
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
- Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3
- Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
