Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Job Summary
Oversee small-to-mid-sized water and wastewater projects by assembling teams, developing scope, schedules, and budgets, and acting as the primary client contact. Monitor costs against planned budgets, identify and resolve problems to prevent additional expenses, and ensure timely completion by securing appropriate resources. Coordinate contract negotiations, organize regular meetings, document deliverables, and mentor junior staff while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Build and maintain client relationships to meet or exceed expectations. This role requires 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater services, including piping extensions, pump stations, and treatment plant rehabilitation. Salary is commensurate with experience; successful candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree with equivalent experience
- 6+ years of project experience
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater services
- Wastewater project experience (piping extensions/rehabilitation, new pump stations/rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects)
- Strong organizational, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related area preferred
