Job Summary
Water/wastewater engineering Project Manager in Greenville, SC leading planning, design, and permitting for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. Responsibilities include supporting client relationships, coordinating with consultants, regulators, and contractors; applying AutoCAD and GIS to planning and documentation; providing technical design and engineering support for water and wastewater conveyance, treatment, and utility systems; collaborating across disciplines and offices; mentoring junior staff; performing drafting/modeling tasks; delivering technical reports, memoranda, plans, and presentations; and representing the firm with clients and community partners. Requires a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, PE license in SC, and 5+ years of municipal water/wastewater experience; proficiency in water/wastewater facilities, hydraulic modeling, and master planning; strong written and oral communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; and professional development orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Carolina
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with municipal water and/or wastewater projects
- Strong technical knowledge in water and wastewater engineering
- Experience with planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure (water mains, booster pump stations, gravity sewer mains, sewer lift stations, force mains, treatment plants)
- Hydraulic modeling and master planning
- Effective communication skills (written reports, technical memoranda, presentations)
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
