Job Summary
The Water/Wastewater Project Manager will plan, design, and manage multidiscipline projects for municipal and institutional clients, including water/wastewater treatment and collection/distribution systems. Responsibilities include performing or managing technical design and hydraulic modeling, preparing qualifications and proposals, and negotiating contracts. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline, at least 6 years of relevant experience, and the ability to guide and coordinate multiple professionals. A Professional Engineer’s license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental or other related engineering discipline
- Approximately 6 or more years of experience in municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field of engineering
- Professional Engineer’s license in the state of Florida, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing a team of engineers, EITs, designers, and sub-consultants
- Experience managing production and treatment projects
- Experience performing water distribution and wastewater collection modeling
- An understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations
