Job Summary
Join J. R. Wauford as an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager, responsible for developing designs, plans, specifications, and managing engineering/design projects related to water treatment plants and systems. Oversee multi-discipline projects, coordinate with various departments, and perform hydraulic modeling. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field, along with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the water/wastewater engineering sector, and a Professional Engineer’s license are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental or other related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in the municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field
- Professional Engineer’s license is required
- Advanced understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate, in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing production and treatment projects
- Experience performing water distribution and wastewater collection modeling
