Job Summary
Water-Wastewater Project Manager responsible for leading multi-discipline water and wastewater design projects from planning through permitting and construction, managing a portfolio of clients to approved scope, budget, and schedule; performing technical reviews and upholding AECOM quality standards; acting as internal/external point of contact for projects in the New England Area (Chelmsford, MA; Boston, MA; Rocky Hill, CT); developing and mentoring mid-level and junior staff; making risk-based decisions and mitigation plans; leading business development and proposal efforts including technical and cost pricing; participating in water/wastewater organizations through conferences and volunteering; travel to Chelmsford, MA; Boston, MA; or Rocky Hill, CT may be required on a scheduled basis; minimum requirements include BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 4+ years in water/wastewater; PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year; valid driver’s license; Day 1 onboarding at an office location; relocation assistance not offered; sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 4+ years of related experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, pumping, and collection systems
- Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and pass Motor Vehicle Records Review
