Job Summary
Lead water/wastewater engineering design projects in the Richmond, VA region, overseeing treatment, collection, distribution, pumping and storage systems; manage client relationships, supervise mid to junior engineers, coordinate subconsultants, and drive on-time, within-budget project delivery while supporting business development. Communicates with clients and stakeholders, develops budgets and schedules, conducts risk management, oversees technical specification development, and ensures design compliance across multi-discipline teams. Requires strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D/Revit and scheduling tools.
Required Qualifications
- BS Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related degree
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- Ability to obtain Virginia PE license within one year of hire
- Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project or P6 Scheduling Software
- Proficiency with drafting/design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit
