Job Summary
Lead, manage, and oversee water and wastewater projects from conception to completion in the Denver/Loveland, CO area, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define objectives and technical specifications; perform engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and detailed design for water and wastewater systems; prepare and review reports, plans, and specifications; navigate permitting processes and ensure regulatory compliance; conduct site visits during construction and manage documentation, design modifications, and construction activities; stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering from ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Approximately 10+ years of experience managing water and wastewater engineering projects
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, CAD design, and project management tools
- Strong knowledge of water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
