Job Summary
Conduct engineering work on water and wastewater treatment plant retrofits, designs, and progressive design-build projects for municipal and water district clients. Manage medium to large-scale projects involving diverse pipeline materials and design management of treatment systems including digesters, clarifiers, and storage tanks. Prepare cost estimates, hydraulic modeling reports, and technical deliverables while providing engineering services during construction and participating in limited field activities. Assist in client relations and business development across the south Florida region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- 4-10 years of experience in water / wastewater treatment plant design and project management engineering
- 3+ years in Project Management for municipalities / water districts in south Florida (i.e. South Florida Water Management District, Broward County, Palm Beach County)
- Strong design of Water/Wastewater treatment systems for municipal clients
- Extensive experience with large diameter pipe and directional drilling
- Experience with designing, planning, and commissioning of Ultra-Violet (UV) treatment systems for municipal Wastewater
Desired Qualifications
