Job Summary
Lead the strategic direction of the Water/Wastewater Practice by managing the production team, overseeing resource scheduling, and resolving complex technical problems to ensure seamless project execution. Develop proposals and contracts that align scope with profitability while driving short and long-term strategic market plans. Cultivate client relationships to identify new opportunities and cross-sell multidisciplinary services, representing the firm at regional and national industry events to establish thought leadership. Account for the profitable operation of the Water/Wastewater practice area within the Water Resources division. Requires a PE, four-year engineering degree, and 10+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- PE required
- Four-year college degree (B.S.) in engineering
- 10+ years of related experience and/or training
- Must be able to carry, lift, push/pull up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, hear and sit for extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Highly motivated to develop a Water/Wastewater practice
- Possess technical expertise in civil engineering as it applies to Water/Wastewater projects
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, able to carry a project through the design process independently and within a team framework
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and grow key relationships
- Proven knowledge of budget impacts and profit and revenue expectations
- Demonstrated ability to think critically while preparing and executing strategic plans for growth
- Proven relationships within the community that are of value in the development of a Water/Wastewater practice
