Job Summary
The Water/Wastewater Operator regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of 5 Water and 2 Wastewater Treatment Facilities, monitoring processes and equipment, performing water quality sampling and testing, and operating and maintaining plant equipment. This role requires decision-making in process control and adherence to safety procedures. Candidates must have a high school degree, a valid Florida Driver's License, and a Class "C" operator license, with dual certification being advantageous. The position involves being on-call, with incentives for on-call duty and opportunities for bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Valid State of Florida Class "C" Drinking Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators license
