Job Summary
Conduct constructability reviews and plan reviews prior to construction, interacting with design engineers to provide input before bids. Perform on-site observations and field testing of materials to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Manage project progress through daily communications with contractors and project managers, attending pre-construction and weekly meetings to address issues. Maintain project documentation by keeping logs of daily activities, reviewing payment applications, and preparing final punch lists at substantial completion. Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and the community while promoting observance of building codes. Full-time schedule during regular business hours; valid driver's license and NICET certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must have demonstrated experience in water/wastewater inspections
- Minimum of 5 years of construction observation or construction experience directly related to one of the following disciplines: water supply and distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection and water / wastewater treatment systems, and roadway construction
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Microsoft outlook
- Valid Driver's License
