Job Summary
Water & Wastewater Facility Operator at the Lynn Lake Gold Project responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining potable water and wastewater treatment facilities; monitor process parameters and regulatory compliance; conduct water sampling and laboratory testing; handle water treatment chemicals safely; perform housekeeping and general maintenance; on-site, site-based role in Lynn Lake, MB with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation; requires Manitoba Water and Wastewater Operator Certifications (Class 2 Water Treatment, Class 1 Water Distribution, Class 1 Wastewater Collection, Class 3 Wastewater Treatment); valid driver’s license; strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; camp-based travel with provided accommodations.
Required Qualifications
- Manitoba Water and Wastewater Facility Operator Certification with: Class 2 Water Treatment, Class 1 Water Distribution, Class 1 Wastewater Collection, Class 3 Wastewater Treatment
- Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and regulatory requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in maintenance (electrical, plumbing, or millwright skills considered an asset)
- Experience with laboratory testing and data interpretation in water or wastewater environments
- Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office and monitoring systems)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence
