Water/Wastewater Facility Operator

Job Summary
Operate and maintain water production facilities and wastewater treatment facilities, lift and booster stations, distribution and sewer collection systems; perform routine water quality analyses, adjust chemical treatments to meet standards, calculate dosages and ratios, complete work orders, and ensure compliance with department policies and regulatory requirements; require ability to lift up to 75 pounds, travel to multiple work sites, and be available for on-call nights and weekends in a 24/7 operation; high school diploma or GED and appropriate water/wastewater licenses are required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Minimum license requirement of C Water or C Wastewater for FO I, Must meet dual licensing requirements and have either a C Water and C Wastewater for FO II, Must meet dual licensing requirements of at least a B or above Water and B or above Wastewater for FO III
