Job Summary
Entry-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join Wendel’s Water/Wastewater Team out of Williamsville, NY. Responsibilities include working on infrastructure projects, assisting with process planning, design, and construction administration for water and wastewater projects; supporting technical leads and project managers on medium to large-scale design and construction efforts including distribution and collection system improvements and treatment plant rehabilitation; and learning and growing in the Water/Wastewater field. Qualifications include a BS in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (or related field) and up to 3 years of experience, EIT or desire to obtain EIT, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with WaterCAD/BioWin, Civil 3D, REVIT (preferred); travel to client sites or on-site as needed; hybrid work policy with potential for flexible scheduling; competitive benefits and opportunities for career development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related field
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or strong desire to obtain EIT
- Up to 3 years of experience (entry level)
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience with process modeling software (WaterCAD, BioWin), BIM Software (Civil 3D & REVIT) is a plus
- Ability to travel to client sites or work on-site
