Job Summary
Design systems for drinking water and wastewater transport, including pumping and storage projects, while assisting senior staff on treatment plant designs. Review drainage systems for stormwater or floodplains to safeguard ecosystems and design necessary conveyance systems. Assess needs for treatment systems based on population demands, conduct feasibility studies for public utility infrastructure, and analyze various treatment technologies to recommend effective methods. Develop specifications for pumping and force main systems, collaborate with contractors and government agencies on construction, and ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal codes. Prepare technical reports, provide client technical support, and conduct cost-benefit analyses. Align with the marketing team on RFPs, presentations, and project scoping.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering
- Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources field
- Project and / or Client Management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing water treatment plants, in part or in whole
