Job Summary
Lead Water/Wastewater Engineer develops and implements department strategy, manages project teams by establishing staffing needs and deliverable timelines, and prepares detailed discipline plans. You will establish project fees, coordinate proposals with marketing and technical staff, and forecast revenue projections to meet aggressive profit margins. Responsibilities include attending trade shows and client presentations, developing articles and press releases, ensuring standard procedures are maintained, and assisting with staff development. This role requires meeting client expectations and emerging Water/Wastewater technologies while building client relationships. The firm, with over 70 years in business, seeks a PE holder with 12+ years of experience to lead growth in existing and new markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of Water/Wastewater engineering experience for municipal, private, and public agency clients
- PE License with ability to gain reciprocity in multiple states
- Strong technical background with experience in project management, design, construction, operations, and administration of water and wastewater infrastructure
- Proven record of building/maintaining client relationships
- Ability to travel
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of MS suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe) preferred
- Microsoft Outlook experience
- Proficient in public speaking
- Experience delegating responsibilities
- Experience forecasting trends and tracking emerging Water/Wastewater technologies
