Job Summary
Assist with design, planning, and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects under Project Manager supervision. Prepare reports, models, calculations, and drawings; review shop drawings and requests for information. Conduct research to draft technical specifications and interact with clients and agencies as directed. Perform water and sewer analysis, prepare GIS databases, and assess sewer facilities for rehabilitation recommendations. Develop improvement plans for reservoirs, pump stations, and major utility infrastructure, including sewer capacity studies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, PE fundamentals certificate, and CAD Civil 3D proficiency. On-site in Las Vegas, NV.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam: EI certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of CAD Civil 3D software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Project)
- Ability to apply engineering principles to evaluate and solve basic engineering problems
- Possesses ability to apply engineering principles to evaluate and solve basic engineering problems
- Working knowledge of CAD Civil 3D software

Desired Qualifications
- For some departments, specific working knowledge of ArcGIS software and/or WaterCAD is preferred
