Job Summary
Water/Wastewater Engineer I responsible for the detailed design of drinking water, wastewater, and other infrastructure projects in design-build, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations. Responsibilities include conceptual/preliminary design in Bluebeam with AutoCAD/Revit coordination, collaborative pricing and proposals with Baxter & Woodman Boller Design Build and subcontractors, independent decision-making on project engineering solutions, and active participation in client/agency meetings to build relationships. Requires ability to lead through design, strong technical writing, and effective collaboration within a team to deliver efficient, sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, environmental emphasis.
- Ability to lead themselves through project design.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment for both engineering design and contractors.
