Water/Wastewater Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment process engineering evaluations. Prepare design calculations, reports, plans, and specifications while confirming their accuracy. Manage construction phase activities including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, and change orders. Perform site investigations, witness testing, and milestone construction observations. Supervise junior staff and lead the pursuit of small to moderate projects. Assist with business development by writing technical proposals and managing budgets. Communicate directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Requires a BS in Engineering, five years of water/wastewater experience, and a PE license preferred. Located in Huntington, New York.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical)
- 5+ work experience in the design and/or design services of water/wastewater
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- PE License preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Access, Teams, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D software
