Job Summary
Entry-level Water/Wastewater/Drainage Civil Associate focused on planning, design, and construction support for water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing design calculations, drawings, and specifications for water distribution/transmission and wastewater collection; performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; identifying erosion and sediment control measures and stormwater management strategies; assisting with technical memoranda, studies, and engineering reports; coordinating with project teams and supporting senior engineers and project managers in developing project documents; requires CAD/GIS proficiency and an onsite/office role in Phoenix, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
- 0-5 years professional experience in study, design, and construction administration of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledgeable in CAD (Autodesk, Bentley) and knowledge of GIS (ESRI)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
