Job Summary
Lead daily field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects, supervising crews and subcontractors from startup through completion. Oversee mechanical, electrical, piping, and infrastructure scopes, including support for electrical installation involving pumps, motors, panels, controls, instrumentation, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution. Manage projects valued at approximately $10M-$20M by coordinating schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors while reviewing blueprints and resolving field issues. Ensure projects remain safe, on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards through safety meetings and OSHA compliance. Mentor field personnel to build accountable teams. Manage projects valued at approximately $10M-$20M.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on water or wastewater treatment plant construction experience
- 5+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience
- Proven experience leading treatment plant and municipal infrastructure projects
- Hands-on experience installing electrical systems within water or wastewater treatment plants
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, instrumentation, generators, and power distribution
- Experience with process piping, blowers, lift stations, underground utilities, and treatment equipment
- Experience managing projects in the $10M-$20M range
- Strong background in estimating, bidding, procurement, scheduling, and project planning
- Ability to read construction drawings, electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency with Excel and construction project management processes
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
