Job Summary
Coordinate project planning, execution, and budget monitoring for water and wastewater engineering projects, developing technical solutions and negotiating scopes with sub-consultants. Serve as technical lead for complex projects, reviewing designs, checking calculations, and managing staffing under Project Manager oversight. Supervise less experienced staff, prepare proposals, and lead construction administration tasks including submittal reviews, RFIs, and change order tracking. Assist in client meetings, public hearings, and project closeout while identifying potential claims and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline
- PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
- 5+ years' of water or wastewater systems design experience in a professional services environment
- Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record
- Technical writing skills
