Job Summary
Operate an MR/HR licensed water truck to water traffic calming gardens, turf, street trees, and public open space assets. Supervise a small team to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, while communicating with supervisors, residents, contractors, and the public. Identify and report safety issues in the field and provide operational support for filling water barriers, emergency response, recovery operations, and large-scale road clean-up works following accidents or spills.
Required Qualifications
- MR/HR licensed water truck
- Supervise a small team
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Regular communication with Supervisors, other Council teams and with residents, contractors, and members of the public
- Identify and report on any safety issues identified while out in the field
