Water Treatment Operator

Job Summary
Ensure work performed to applicable specifications and regulations while preparing daily logs. Operate equipment safely and efficiently to transport and treat impacted mine water, monitoring treatment effectiveness and performing day-to-day inspections. Support troubleshooting of facility technical problems, collect samples for laboratory analysis, and complete scheduled maintenance per O&M manuals. Provide status updates to management and supervise site work activities, including off-hour emergency responses. Report directly to the Lead Water Treatment Operator for on-site coverage five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- Experience in operating biological treatment systems
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to supervise site work activities involved in completing the daily O&M responsibilities and support any necessary off-hour emergency responses
- Technical knowledge in portions of the site work involved in completing the daily O&M responsibilities
- On-site five days a week
