Job Summary
Operate, monitor, control, test, and troubleshoot water treatment processes at the Nashua plant, booster stations, well stations, and storage facilities on a 24/7/365 schedule. Travel assigned routes to perform routine inspections, calibration, sample collection, and maintenance on water systems to ensure efficient operation within established standards. Conduct standardized testing and analysis to verify optimal water quality and compliance with federal and state regulations. Inspect and maintain assigned storage tanks, dams, or intake structures. This role supports Pennichuck Corporation's regulated water utility operations in southern and central New Hampshire, offering opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid state driver's license in good standing
- First Aid Training within 12 months of hire
- OSHA 10 Hour Card within 12 months of hire
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
- NHDES Treatment Operator Certification I
- NHDES Treatment Operator Certification II
Desired Qualifications
- One year successful service and deemed as fully qualified by means of training, experience, and knowledge; or relevant experience
- Two years of successful operator service and deemed as fully qualified by means of training, experience, and knowledge
- Three total years of successful experience (at least two of which at Pennichuck) and deemed as fully qualified by means of training, experience, and knowledge
