Water Treatment Operator - 1st Shift

Operate and maintain the water treatment plant on the 1st shift, monitoring gauges, flowmeters, charts, and control computers; perform water analysis (hardness, alkalinity, pH, turbidity, chlorine residual); adjust chemical dosages to maintain proper treatment levels; conduct routine preventive maintenance on pumps, piping, and filtration; respond to alarms; accurately record plant operation data and distribution pressures; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lift/move heavy equipment are required; experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel piping is preferred. The role is full-time on 1st shift with wage of $18.50/hour and comprehensive benefits.
