Job Summary
Conduct extensive water treatment lab work, troubleshoot control equipment, and commission new assets at customer data centers in the Clarksville, TN area. Solve water treatment concerns and treat industrial cooling systems to maintain energy efficiency and environmental standards. Perform detailed water testing and analyses while pursuing cost-savings initiatives for power, water, and labor. Report weekly site activities and program performance to the Technical Program Manager. Some travel may be required for training and support.
Required Qualifications
- technical degree such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources
- 4 year technical degree in the sciences
- experience in the water treatment business (or chemical related field)
- interest in learning advanced water treatment technologies
- supervisory experience
- basic knowledge in management practices and procedures
- ability to perform all site activities (testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, chemical applications, etc) independently
- demonstrated ability to work independently
- demonstrated ability to resolve complex operational challenges
- detail-oriented
- ability to adhere to safety protocols
- ability to lift 50 pounds wearing PPE in all weather conditions
- live in or near the Clarksville, TN, area
- familiar with water, process and cooling systems
- familiar with pretreatment technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Outside industrial sales experience
- Familiarity With Industrial Cooling Systems
- Knowledge and Proficiency with Lab Procedures, Water Equipment, & Water Chemistry
- Ability to Provide Virtual Presentations to Group
- Experience Working in a Team Setting as a Collaborative Partner
