Job Summary

Lead, mentor, and supervise water transfer technicians while assigning daily tasks and providing coaching. Conduct pre-job planning, safety meetings, and equipment inspections to enforce company policies and environmental regulations. Coordinate rig-up, operation, and monitoring of pumps, pipelines, and tanks; operate equipment to transfer water between systems while monitoring flow rates and pressures. Respond quickly to alarms, leaks, or equipment issues to protect people and job continuity. Track equipment usage, storage volumes, and material inventory accurately. Maintain professional communication with clients and supervisors, escalating issues as needed. Prepare and submit daily and project reports covering progress, volumes, and safety events. Work a four-week on, two-week off rotational schedule with overtime opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • At least two years of water transfer leadership experience
  • Hands-on experience with pump setup and operation, pipeline installation, tank monitoring, flow measurement, and basic equipment troubleshooting
  • Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record for the preceding three years
  • Proficient in safely operating skid steers, telehandlers, and deployers
  • Reliable transportation to and from company facilities or designated mobilization points
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background check
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel, including by air, and work at remote project locations for the full four-week rotation; operational needs may occasionally require a longer stay
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work outdoors in varying weather and terrain, while safely handling hoses, piping, tools, and related equipment
  • Dependable, punctual, focused, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients
