Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of technicians responsible for RODI and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring reliable operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs while monitoring system performance to optimize efficiency and support manufacturing requirements. Manage system capacity, upgrades, and improvements; establish SOPs, maintenance standards, and monitoring practices. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities, coordinate with contractors and government authorities, and manage major shutdown activities. Provide emergency and after-hours support when required. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of water treatment experience and SCADA/PLC proficiency required. Certification is an added advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Science Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Utilities, or Facilities Engineering
- Strong knowledge of RODI, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ion Exchange (IX/DI), and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) operations
- Experience in water treatment system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Ability to interpret Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, and automation control systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

- CePIETSO-PCP and/or CePSWaM certification
