Job Summary
Hybrid Water System Analyst supporting DoW clients; develop water security and resilience metrics; conduct water system assessments; synthesize data across installations to identify trends and inform leadership decisions; collaborate with local utility representatives and DoW installation stakeholders to develop conceptual solutions and policies; prepare technical deliverables and high-level briefings for priority water projects; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years’ experience in water systems, strong project management and communication skills, and ability to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance; preferred experience with DoW, DHS, DOE, or other federal agencies, and water system development at military installations; role is located in the Washington, DC area with hybrid in-person and telework options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Water Resources Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- 4-6 years’ experience with water utility system development and evaluation
- Experience with water resilience and management policy development, implementation, or evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
- Strong communication skills
- Capability to work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently in both a virtual and in-person environment
- Experience with Microsoft product suite, including MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Active Secret clearance at time of application (preferred)
