Job Summary
This mid-level Water Supply and Wastewater Project Engineer position requires a detail-oriented individual to plan and design critical infrastructure such as treatment plants and pipelines. Responsibilities include attending site visits, designing piping systems, preparing technical plans and specifications, and coordinating with government agencies and stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a B.S. degree, significant experience in water engineering, a PE license, and proficiency in design software. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior staff are also essential.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil, Environmental, or Bioresource engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in water & wastewater engineering or 4 years with an advanced degree
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Solid proficiency in drafting and water/wastewater design software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Demonstrated competency/experience with open channel hydraulics and closed conduit hydraulics

- Must be able to travel to project sites or clients' places of business
