Job Summary
Pick various materials, parts, and assemblies from staging locations for production areas and prepare tools for optimal use. Replenish and return materials as needed, applying continuous improvement methods to reduce pick errors and quality concerns. Read work instructions to determine staging methods, support production as needed, and act as backup to the production lead. Assist with order verification, confirmations, and tracking hourly production while reporting issues accurately. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds daily, working in a plant environment with varying conditions, and wearing required PPE including a respirator. Varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years in Production or Warehouse operations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read, write, and understand the local language
- Able to wear basic PPE (steel toe shoe, safety eye wear)
- Able to work in workstations with multiple people or working in small work areas
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able and willing to wear a respirator
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
