Job Summary
Teach life-saving swim skills using the Aqua-Tots curriculum while maintaining constant pool safety awareness and following Minor In-Water Incident protocols. Build family relationships by connecting with parents, answering curriculum questions, and tracking student progress on Aqua-Cards. Ensure pool readiness by checking chemicals, logging results, and cleaning the deck, windows, and showers. Complete required trainings and staff meetings to support team goals under the Lead on Duty. Work flexible afternoons, evenings, and weekends at least two shifts weekly. Join Legacy Swim School's expanding network of 44 locations dedicated to teaching children safe, confident swimming.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work at least two shifts per week
- Comfortable in the water and able to swim
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and patient attitude
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camps, babysitting, etc.)
- Aquatics experience (lifeguarding, swim team, instructing)
