Water Restoration Technician

Job Summary
Retrieve work orders, check routes, load equipment, and arrive at job sites to perform water damage restoration including extraction, pack-out, demolition, and light construction. Monitor active jobs with urgency, adjust drying plans based on meter readings, and ensure quality control on every task. Explain processes and next steps to customers using printed guides, resolve issues, and obtain signatures for approval. Prepare documentation and photos according to company policies to secure insurance reimbursement. Report equipment malfunctions and handle supplies safely.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Drivers' License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written and communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Experience with using mobile software to enter data
- Can read and follow product label usage instructions
- Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
- Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Must be prepared to move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects
- Must be prepared to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be prepared to lift, squat, crawl and crouching
- Must be able to seal respirators to face
- Must have visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities
