Job Summary
Water Restoration Technician monitors, inspects and completes tasks for water restoration jobs including drying, demolition and related restoration activities. Prepares and reviews documentation for insurance reimbursements, explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to customers in person using printed materials, loads appropriate equipment and supplies on the truck, completes assigned jobs according to company processes with quality control, performs water damage repair (including water extraction, pack-out of contents, disposal of non-salvageable materials, light construction and demolition), ensures proper handling of equipment and supplies, reports malfunctions, inspects jobs after completion to obtain customer signatures and, when needed, requests payments. Maintains daily project monitoring with urgency, adjusts the drying plan based on meter readings, communicates issues to customers and staff, and prepares documentation and photos to support insurance reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written and communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Experience with using mobile software to enter data
- Can read and follow product label usage instructions
- Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
