Job Summary
Lead high-dollar, complex water resources projects from lead identification through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating with disciplines and subconsultants to develop risk-adverse strategies. Create project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks through extra work orders and contract proposals. Communicate status to stakeholders, prepare reports, and lead presentations. Mentor team members, coach on performance, and guide technical resources to ensure quality outcomes. Assist in marketing efforts, including SMART Go/No Go decisions and proposal development, while building client networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Professional Engineering License
- 15+ years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Bentley ORD and Autodesk Civil 3D
- Proficient in ICPR, SWMM, and HED-RAS modeling software
- Proficient in ArcGIS
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Presentation Skills
- Business development experience
Desired Qualifications
- ENV SP certification
- CAPM or PMP certification
- Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3
- Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
- Experience with stream restoration projects
- Experience with water quality projects
