Job Summary
Lead project design for local and statewide water resources projects with municipal clients and the DOT, managing assigned projects throughout their full lifecycle from scope development to contract negotiations. Develop project scopes, fee quotations, and technical proposals while overseeing delivery plans to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget completion. Serve as the primary client liaison, coordinating with internal and external partners to solve design issues and manage budget, schedule, and technical requirements. Lead the development and execution of project management plans, supervise team staffing including recruitment and retention, and present proposal materials to clients and industry peers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8 years of relevant experience
- 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering
- 10 years relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Local municipal and/or DOT experience and relationships
- Active engagement in local professional and/or civic organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
