Job Summary
Water Resources Engineering EIT responsible for civil systems design for stormwater facilities, technical memos and reports, construction inspections, and preparation of project documentation and cost estimates. Requires collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team, strong written communication, initiative, and the ability to work with municipal, provincial, and mining sector clients. Proficiency in Civil3D, PCSWMM, ArcGIS, and understanding of MMCD/CCDC/NMS contract documentation. Must be eligible for EIT registration with EGBC and have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree in Water Resources and related experience are preferred. Relocation and Canadian sponsorship are not available for this role; Hybrid work arrangement in Burnaby, BC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC
- Minimum one year of experience in stormwater design (preferred)
- Experience with Civil3D, PCSWMM and ArcGIS
- Understanding of civil construction and ability to communicate with clients
- Valid BC Class V Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of relevant experience in stormwater infrastructure design
- Eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC
- Master’s Degree in Water Resources
- Experience with Civil3D, PCSWMM and ArcGIS
- Working knowledge of contract documentation MMCD and CCDC/NMS
