Water Resources Engineering Design Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage stormwater/water resources infrastructure projects for municipal and regional clients, overseeing design and analysis of detention/retention basins, open channels, and storm drain networks. Requires experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (H&H) using HE C-HMS, HEC-RAS, and related software; prepare and review plans, specifications, and construction documents; manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communications; support permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies; oversee work of teams including CAD designers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in stormwater management
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable engineering or applied science degree)
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with ICPR/Stormwise, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (steady, unsteady flow, and two-dimensional), ArcGIS ArcMap, and Microsoft Office suite
- Preferred: Infoworks ICM, XP-SWMM, ICPR 4, ArcGIS Pro, CFM Certification and/or experience in floodplain management practices
- Knowledge of FEMA RiskMap Program, Guidelines and Standards for Flood Risk Analysis and Mapping, and Mapping Information Platform (MIP)
- Local experience in NE and SW Florida regions, including understanding of FDEP and WMD criteria and permitting
