Job Summary
Water Resources Engineer for municipal water resources projects in Kansas City. Perform analysis and design as a Project Engineer, supervise junior staff, conduct stormwater modeling, floodplain and hydrologic studies, sediment transport and scour analyses, assist in permitting, and prepare engineering plans and specifications for detention facilities and storm drains. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal preparation. Requires 4-10 years of experience and a Missouri PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months); BS in Civil Engineering with Master’s preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering
- Master’s degree in Hydrology and/or Hydraulics (preferred)
- 4-10 years of professional experience in water resource-related projects
- Missouri Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain within 6 months
