Water Resources Engineer (Rail)

Job Summary
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for Class I Railroad projects while managing scope and schedule development. Prepare technical reports, review CAD drawings, and obtain local, state, and federal permits for water resources projects. Travel to job sites as required. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, six or more years of related water resource engineering experience, and three or more years leading junior staff with a PE license. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, HEC-RAS, or HEC-HMS is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience; applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 6+ years of related water resource engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring junior staff
- PE License
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or other related hydrologic and hydraulic software
