Job Summary

Provide professional engineering consultation for the planning, design, and coordination of large complex transportation projects, often leading multidiscipline teams. Develop engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents while coordinating with clients to define project objectives. Review junior staff work for technical accuracy, perform quality control reviews, and conduct as-needed field observations of ongoing construction. Maintain professional licensure and ensure conformance with federal, state, and local codes. Supervise direct reports through hiring, coaching, and performance management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience
  • PE required
  • Advanced level of oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • Experience working on parts of a major project or multiple moderate-sized projects
  • Proven experience providing technical guidance to entry/junior level staff
  • Reviewing others' work for technical accuracy
