Job Summary
Water Resources Engineer responsible for drainage design on highway and bridge construction projects; perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, prepare designs complying with state stormwater management requirements, review design documents for conformance, mentor junior engineers in hydrology/hydraulics, and participate in field investigations with some travel in the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) required with 4+ years of water resources experience performing drainage design on highway and bridge construction projects required
- Experience with South Carolina Department of Transportation design principles is required
- Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Must complete a pre-employment screening
- Proficiency in hydrology and hydraulics modeling
