Job Summary
Water Resources Engineer responsible for leading design efforts as a Sr. Water Resources Engineer in Billings, MT, acting as project manager/lead engineer for moderate to complex civil/site water resources projects. Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; coordinate with engineers and consultants; manage client communications and project milestones; ensure adherence to owner/IMEG standards and applicable codes; monitor monthly billings and completion percentages; provide construction support, site visits, and quality control; mentor team members and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration; utilize Civil 3D and related tools for stormwater, grading, utilities, and water/wastewater tasks; demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and client-relations skills; willingness to travel up to 20% and support business development efforts. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BS)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 7 years of experience minimum; 8 preferred in building design consulting
- Demonstrated leadership in Project Management career path
- Proficient in Civil Engineering technical and analytical skills
- Ability to perform final quality control checks in area of expertise
- Ability to sell work and develop client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays
