Job Summary
Water Resource Project Manager II leads watershed planning and engineering design projects within Eocene Environmental Group's Water Resource and Engineering Team. This role blends technical leadership, team development, and client strategy, with responsibilities spanning leading watershed planning and engineering design projects, mentoring staff, managing client relationships and driving business development initiatives. The position supports regional growth, coordinates with federal, state, local, and tribal agencies, and requires coordinating project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and technical direction. A Professional Engineering license in Environmental or Civil Engineering, 10+ years of relevant design experience (including H&H modeling, stream/wetland restoration, and green infrastructure), and strong written/verbal communication are essential. The role entails travel within the Midwest and periodic travel to Wright Service Corp. headquarters as needed, and offers flexible remote work from Midwest locations.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineering License in Environmental or Civil Engineering
- Four-year degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- A minimum of 10 years professional design experience in water resources, environmental, ecological engineering (or similar)
- Experience with H&H modeling, stream analysis, stream/wetland restoration, mitigation banking, permitting, watershed planning, and related areas
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Experience with grant writing and developing project scopes and fees for public funding programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD/Civil3D, HEC-RAS
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and project management skills
