Water Quality Foreman (Class C Distribution license required)

Lead the Water Quality team when the Supervisor is unavailable, coordinating daily assignments, responding to water quality incidents, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collect drinking water samples in strict accordance with regulatory procedures, maintain chain of custody documentation, and conduct flow tests, pressure surveys, and flushing operations. Isolate water mains for emergencies, restore service, and activate newly installed lines while using GIS and engineering drawings to identify problem areas. Respond to customer concerns and Boil Water Advisories, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and exercise purchasing authority up to $1,000. Ensure all work activities are entered into Maximo and that employees complete required training. Requires a Class B Distribution license, NC driver's license, and ability to work very frequent physical exertion.
