Job Summary
Coordinate water drop-offs by organizations and schedule distributions to community members in the Sipayik Community. Drive vehicles to pick up empty jugs, refill them at the pump house, and assist elders or people with disabilities with refilling. Collaborate with Tribal Leadership to establish water policies and procedures. This part-time role reports to the Food Systems Manager, offering a starting hourly rate of $20.73. Candidates must have experience living in Sipayik, a valid Maine driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience working or living in the Sipayik community.
- Must have and maintain a valid Maine driver's license.
- A clean driving record.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Experience working with Tribal Communities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, public speaking and listening skills.
- Ability to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, load, unload, climb, etc.
- Must pass criminal background check.
