Job Summary
Monitor telemetry systems, manage alarms, and coordinate field teams to ensure a continuous supply of safe drinking water to 1.2 million customers. Execute network changes and resolve incidents using analytical skills and confidence with multiple IT systems within a 24/7 operational control centre. Work in a 6-week cycle of 12-hour shifts including day and night rotations, with an average of 28 hours per week. Some standby periods and extra cover may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Live within approximately one hour's commute of our Durrington office
- Are willing to relocate if successful
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work proactively and use your own initiative
- Confidence with multiple IT systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Evidence of their identity
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Criminal record check (DBS)
- Verification of their employment and/or education history for the past three years
- Successful completion of all pre-employment checks, including security vetting
