Job Summary
Water Process Engineer (UPW) at Samsung Austin Semiconductor responsible for project management of multiple UPW system projects, leading commissioning activities, monitoring daily trends, coordinating with operations, driving process improvements, owning the entire system scope, troubleshooting UPW issues, researching new technologies to improve UPW quality, supporting instrumentation and maintenance teams, coaching engineers, leading cross-facility task forces, reviewing SOPs and PLC changes, and performing trend analysis to drive system improvements. Requires a B.S. in a relevant engineering discipline, 6+ years of experience, and knowledge of water treatment technologies and ultrapure water systems. On-site at Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Process or Industrial Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in an Engineering environment, preferably Design or Operations
- Working knowledge of general water treatment technologies and/or processes
- Advanced knowledge of ultrapure water treatment systems
